A Vase That Looked Like a Stained Glass Painting

At first glance, I honestly wasn’t sure what I was looking at.

Was it a real vase?
Or a stained glass artwork made to look like one?

The more I looked at the mockup, the more mysterious it felt.
There are flowers arranged inside, clearly real glass,
and yet the whole piece feels strangely flat—almost like a painting.

According to the description, each vase is carefully handmade,
with intricate stained glass details set into an elegant black metal frame.
Reading that, I began to think this might not be something meant for everyday use as a vase,
but rather an object to live quietly in a room.

And somehow, that made it even more charming.

The set includes three designs inspired by different months—
January’s carnation, May’s lily of the valley, and September’s morning glory.
Seeing them together, the idea of selling them as a set feels just right.
They seem to belong to one another.

I imagine placing them near a window,
watching the light pass through the colored glass,

最初にこのモックアップを見たとき、
正直なところ、何を見ているのかわかりませんでした。

これは実在する花瓶なのか、
それともステンドグラスの絵なのか。
花が活けてあるのに、どこかとても平面的で、
アート作品のようにも見えるのです。

商品説明を読むと、
一つ一つ丁寧に手作業で作られ、
精巧なステンドグラスのディテールが
ブラックのメタルフレームに収められているとのこと。

そう考えると、
これは「花を活けるための道具」というより、
インテリアとしてそっと置いて楽しむ存在なのかもしれません。

それにしても、なんて可愛くて素敵なのでしょう。
