A Game That Made Me Laugh at First Sight
There are many games like this—
simple rules, played by two or more people, and enjoyed across ages.
But when I saw this one, I smiled immediately.
It’s called Monster Balance, a small dexterity game where each player takes turns placing a tiny creature onto a seesaw, trying to keep everything balanced.
If the balance breaks and two or more monsters fall, that player loses.
The rules are easy to understand, but the moment you look at the monsters themselves, you can tell the real fun is in their expressions and colors.
They’re small, colorful, and just a little silly.
The kind of figures that make you laugh before the game even starts.
I can imagine playing this with children, of course—but also with couples, or even grandparents and grandchildren together.
It feels like one of those games where everyone leans in, concentrating, holding their breath… and then laughing when it all collapses.
It looks simple, but it feels like it might quietly test your patience and dexterity.

見ただけでクスッと笑ってしまった、モンスターバランスゲーム
こういうタイプのゲーム、意外とたくさんあります。
2人以上で遊べて、年齢を問わない。
ルールはシンプルで、見た目が楽しいもの。
でも、この「モンスターバランス」は、
最初にモンスターたちの姿を見た瞬間、思わず笑ってしまいました。
小さくてカラフルで、どこか間の抜けた表情のモンスターたち。
その1体ずつを順番にシーソーの上に積み上げていくゲームです。
途中でバランスを崩して、
2体以上のモンスターが落ちてしまったら負け。
説明を聞くだけでも、ちょっとドキドキしそうです。
子どもと遊ぶのはもちろん、
カップルで、あるいはおじいちゃんおばあちゃんと一緒に遊んでも楽しそう。
見た目はかわいいですが、意外と器用さが求められそうなところも惹かれました。
簡単そうに見えて、案外むずかしいかもしれません。
